Every conversion is done individually to ensure a perfect panel fit between the furniture and the van’s structure. None of our furniture is mass-produced then bolted in. We believe the only way to achieve an accurate finish is to treat each van individually.
In addition, all our cupboard doors (except gas locker door) fit flush with the face of the panel. This finish is much harder to achieve than the standard approach favoured by most converters.
We only use the very best lightweight German-manufactured Vohringer 15mm thick plywood which is hot bond laminated on both sides.
With a 15mm centre the furniture has excellent rigidity and the super hard Egger laminate finish will not succumb to the knocks of a campervan life.
Far superior to any paper or vinyl finished product, your vehicle furniture will still look new after years of use and being half the weight of standard plywood you’ll also be carrying around half the load.
We fit the stainless steel SMEV dual hob/sink combo which features two gas burners, safety ignition system, detachable pan supports which make the unit easier to clean, and twin glass lids which fold down to extend the available counter space when not in use.
We favour the use of the Waeco 39ltr 12v Compressor Fridge. This requires no external venting and receives its power from the leisure battery, which is constantly charged by the engine or from the PMS charger when hooked up to a 240v power supply.
We only fit elevating roofs and their accompanying strengthening frames that have passed European TUV regulations. Manufactured in Germany by Reimo.
Our in-house-designed roof bed system is fully carpeted, edged and features telescopic gas struts to lift it out of the way when not in use. It can also be easily removed if only two berths are required.
All our wiring is correctly weighted and fitted inside flexible conduits to minimise the chances of a short circuit. The internal power is handled through a Power Management System which offers full Earth Leakage protection and fusing for both 240v and 12v systems.
In addition it allows for charging of the large 110 Leisure battery, or the van’s own battery if needed.
The gas locker houses a 7.5 kg gas bottle with interchangeable tail featuring quick release connection & 30mb caravan regulator. The locker has a sealed door and is vented through the floor – ensuring no gas leak will ever make its way into the living area of the vehicle. The locker is large enough to carry a 7.5 kg cylinder.
In addition, for added safety and peace of mind, our conversions also include a hard wired LPG & carbon monoxide gas detection alarm system.
All installations are carried out by a fully trained and certified Caravan Gas Installer.
